Staff initiated a Zoning Map Amendment to clean-up the zoning designations of 142 parcels throughout the City, which are currently inconsistent with their General Plan designations. Of those 142 parcels, 25 parcels are located within the Coastal Zone, therefore initiating this amendment to the Local Coastal Program. The amended map will continue to accommodate existing uses and new development in accordance with the Coastal Element and bring such 25 parcels into compliance with the General Plan.
