Huntington Beach City School District

The project includes a 15-lot, low-density, single-family planned unit development subdivision in the 3.2-acre area where the original school building and pavement/parking area are currently developed. The single-family residential subdivision was sold to a private residential builder in 2016.  The school building has been demolished.  The project is currently in the plan check process for park improvements and the final subdivision map.  The 6.5-acres of the closed school that are developed with Little League fields will be purchased by the City and preserved as park space.  Improvements in the sports fields include a new concession/storage/restroom building, new bleachers and additional passive park areas.
